While it's true that the oil can be bought , but not everywhere , and this forum is worldwide, hence in Mexico many of this things can be secured OTC but no so in the US or other places, so the reason many people labor over methods in synthesis, is manily to assist those without access, as a community should do to help out the less fortunate members...........java

Is the FeSO4 absolutley nessecary in the ammonium persulfate reaction if one uses CuSO4 instead, becoz swim has plenty of CuSO4 but the only FeSO4 he could find was a fertiliser sorta thing and in big bags which was obviously too big for swims needs.

1 other question, coz i couldnt edit my previous post but is it possible to use ethanol in the EB's persulfate instead of methanol or wont it mix the solvents properly, or will ti oxidse itself?
