mineral oil for defatting acidified extract

Heya all,
   Just wondering if anyone knows if good quality mineral oil can be used to defat acidic dmt water extract? Seems somewhat reasonable because it's composed of non reactive alkanes and some cyclics and it will defat human tissue. Real cheap too.
