Pressing Pills

I have always wondered how companies press powders into pills?  Also, how they get designs on to them!  Could someone please explain this process?

You will see how its made, look for pill press
Its straight forward.
Pills are compressed under high pressure.
Put the logo you want at the end of your stomper and every pill that gets pressed will have that logo.
Almost like when you  bring something to the post office and they stamp the envelop to signify its paid. Same thing under a high pressure on a small surface

searching for pillpress gives a few hits
searching for "pill press" (with the "s!) gives >500 hits

read them all and come back later.

(judging by your performance you're probably one of those press ephedrine

I know they come up with hits, but none of the pages listed in the search resuts help one bit.

SWIM doesn't want to purchase a 5000 dollar pill press.  He/she just wants a simple hand held press!

If pill pressing machines incorporate high pressure and mechanics to do the job, then why would you even contemplate a simple hand-held one.

anyway, using the search words i gave him/her, he/she could have come
to every conclusion needed, by just reading threads that came up on the
first few pages and by following the pointers therein. what a lazy son/daughter
of a bush! and thanks everyone for contributing to further search engine
