In my opinion, you shouldn't do any (grignar)synth as it seems you have very small knowledge of chemistry/maths.

For example the dilution of 38%HCl to 10% is absurd question. x*y/z would give the answer if you put ()-signs somewhere ;)

It also calls for 166ml of 1M 4-chlorophenylmagnesium bromide in 700ml of ether, so how many ml's of a Density0.887 g/mL solution should be used

You haven't already bought the grignard, have you?!
Seriously. Start with something easier and proceed in your own pace.
