Black tar after MDP-2P distillation

Hi! After BS's wacker i washed it as read. Then i distilled it to obtain MDP2P. After the DCM the MDP2P came over, but a lot (about 150ml !) of black tar was left. After cooling it was nearly impossible to get rid of it, used a lot of aceton and sand to 'wash' it out. What has happened ? Why this much tar ? Did i ran the MM wacker too hot ? I have read that this is not good. Thanx

What was your distillation temp? What was your Vacuum pressure? What was your source of vacuum?

Add about 30g of NaOH to about 100ml of Acetone. Then add about 50ml of water carefully and stir or shake carefully. This sems to clean out that black shit (thick tar) for SWIM.
