tried searching around for "legal" uses for
3,4,5-Trimethoxyphenylacetonitrile I didn't find anything
either.

Please post here if you find any, or maybee there are
some other bees around who know of any good excuses for
ordering 3,4,5-Trimethoxyphenylacetonitrile?

BTW: don't you get better yields (per $ of starting compound) if you start from the benzaldehyde?

legal reasons to purchase it.
