    Celite is used in the beer and wine industries. Any medium to large brewery or winery (or distillery) will have pallets full of sacks of Celite. They use it for... you guessed, filtration. Go on a brewery tour, bring a bag and ask nicely for a few pounds, it's dirt cheap. Bigger brewpubs would also use it if they do D.E. (diatomaceous earth) filtration. Ask the brewer, after telling how much you love the beer. That would be kieselguhr (sp?) for euro-bees.
