3-phenylpropyl chloride a la KrZ???

Breathing some life into an old process, have any bees tried KrZ's dehydrohalogenation of 3-phenylpropyl chloride to allylbenzene?

1-chloro-3-phenylpropane is pretty hard to come by stuff, rare, and while not watched, one might received some scrutiny from sources with scrupulous eyes. Other than that it can be had pretty easily.

The process seems pretty simple to my eyes (with no formal chem education).

has a pretty good explanation of halide removal from alkenes. Am I correct that the process proceeds by a E2 mechanism?
