I found this ref in "Annual Reports in Organic Synthesis-1981."  It is for a NaBH4/Palladium Chloride catalyzed reduction of benzylic alcohols which may prove to be very useful to us.  Can someone please check it out and let us know the basic reaction parameters?  Reported yields are 50-91%
