Cinnamic Acid 2 Phenylacetaldehyde

I found a reference in an organic chemistry book about cinnamic acid being used in the preparation of phenylacetaldehyde.

After extensive web searches, tfse, and patents, I can not find any more details on this.

I believe that is performed by ozonization of the cinnamic acid. Nothing for home tinkerers.
