Swim has discovered a source for a significant quantity of diethylamine.  A friend was wondering if there was anyway to convert this to ethylamine?  A utfse search turned up nothing in this vein, and would like to know if this is possible?

java

I've looked at a few of the books I have but found nothing.........I did find a review of amines , there might lie a hint ...

or try Noboru Ono book on Nitriles located ...........

I tried looking through it but , I guess you will have to search it out..............java
note: I corrected the link to Ono's book.....

Rhodium

I am not aware of any method of doing that which is easier/cheaper than making the ethylamine from scratch by other routes.
