Storing P2P over Xylene

SWIM was in the process of distilling a xylene / P2P mixture when all of a sudden he had to close shop.  If his thinking is correct theres about 150 ml of each which is being stored in a closed container in a freezer.  Should the P2P be okay for a few months?

Also he was wondering if there was a liquid that could be added to the mixture so he wont have to distill to dryness?
