Please forgive this posted question on effeddrine. But something has come his way that he could really use some help. The problem is that this is supposed to be from Bayer. Its called punta azul... And says efedra on it... But it is a thick viscus clear liquid. swim searched Bayer and utfse.. but has come up with nothing... Can anyone give any hints where to look for info on this product... Or is someone trying to pullm a fast one.... Thank in advance....

Every google search I did with the words punta azul came up with South American hotel info. Is the German car stereo maker blaupunkt still in business?

Thanks but sorry to say after these people showed swim the info the had on this product it was labled as phenylpropanolamine. which is not for meth but for amphetamine.. so there is alot of this going around... so watch out... plus the first sample was kind of a glue likje substance.. the others were more of a small pellet size.. but swim was stil unable to find all the enfo he wanted..... so thank you anyway....

I think phenylpropanolamine reduces to meth under the same conditions as pseudo or eph would. A long time ago they took it off he shelfs because it fucked with heart valves, you don't here much about it anymore

ICE ??  the real thing im talking about(not meth crystals) Phenylpropanolamine is the precursor, at least one of major ones. SWIS wishes he had a quantity of that substance.

PPA reduces to amphetamine not methamphetamine.  It is the same as ephedrine just without the methyl group on the amine.
Also, yes it is also a precursor for ICE, or 4-methylaminorex (4-MAR).  This is made by refluxing in H2O with a cyanate salt to form an intermediate.  That can be cyanate (OCN-) or thiocyanate (SCN-) or whatever.  Thiocyanate is used in photography so if you find the right supplier you can obtain lb's of it no questions asked.  Thats where SWIM obtained his KSCN.  Next the intermediate is refluxed in aqueous HCl, which will cyclize it and give water and 4-MAR (or if KSCN is used, H2S and 4-MAR).  VERY easy and otc, easier than any method that reduces E to meth IMHO.  The only thing that stops 4-MAR production is the availability of PPA.
