would somebody be kind enough to translate to english?  this is phenylbromopropane synth, correct?  something of the sort?

It is the original MDMA synthesis from Merck. It simply states that you should soak safrole in a saturated solution of HBr in GAA, wash and distill the bromosafrole and then react it with alcoholic methylamine in a bomb at 120°C for several hours. The procedures found in the Hive archives are improved compared to this.
