Can someone look up how many allyltrimethylsilane costs?  I 'm talking about 100 - 500 mL quantities.

Which bees have an Aldrich catalog over there?

Allyltrimethylsilane reacts in aqueous solution with in situ generated imminium salts.  This reaction is used in the aminomethano desilylation-cyclization proces.  This proces has some synthetic value in the synthesis of 4-hydroxypiperidines. ... (huh, inductive reasoning ...  :) )

Thx for the info, that silane seems rather expensive ...  :(
