Title: Solventless Henry-condensation without MW?
Post by: KidCurry on March 24, 2004, 05:56:00 AM
When condensing aldehydes (particularly 3,4,5-TMBA) with nitromethane and ammonium acetate, is it possible to do it solventless without microwaves? Otherwise, would acetic acid be a good solvent to use theoretically?
