If eugenol were alkylated with diisopropyl sulfate
(made from isopropyl alcohol, sulfuric acid and sodium sulfate - very OTC)
- you would have isopropyl eugenol
isomerization followed by oxidation and reductive amination with ammonia + Al/Hg would yield:
3-methoxy, 4-isopropoxy Amphetamine.
It seems so easy to make, does anyone know or care to speculate on the abuse potential of this compound.
Is it worth trying?

Isopropoxy-substituted amphetamines tend to have relatively low potency. Already 3-Methoxy-4-Ethoxy-Amphetamine has an active dose as high as 300mg (as does the 3-methoxy-4-allyl- derivative). UTFSE for "designer drugs directory" and you'll find posts with more detailed information.
