good shroom site?

Looking for a decent mushroom site.

Something .. hive-like(?).

fwiw: right now interested in pasteurized straw as substrate; edible, 'medicinal', or 'entheogenic'. Thanks.

May I suggest looking for anything written by Paul Staments and J. S. Chilton on the subject? These ppl are wizards.

Thanks, that looks a likely candidate.

double-plus agreement on the Stamets pointer. I'm not typically given to wild rave reviews but Stamets gets one. I bought the blue book when it first came out. It was like Christmas. That book was a quantum leap forward for home (and other) mushroom cultivation. That guy changed the landscape. I've got the newer medicinal one as well. 110% recommend both of them.

Anyhow I know that as a topic this one is slightly 'off', so thanks, and ciao,

Stamets 3rd ed. book is great!  Definitely a recommended read for anyone with the slightest interest in mushrooms or their cultivation.  Probably the easiest read you can find on the topic that covers so much material.

Swim prefers mycotopia over the shroomery.

Haven't been there in a while though. PF used to be a member there back in the day. No idea what's going on now though.
