Title: 4-ho tryptamines from creatine??????

As I understand it creatine is 4-HO tryptamine
what would happin if I took a bunch of formaldehyde (or isopropylaldehyde) and a bunch of NaBH4 (or maybe LAH) and some creatine freebase and threw them all together????????

I meant creatinine. I got overexcited and mis-read. In any case that does not have the full tryptamine structure as well.

I saw that and got a bit hasty and excited and didnt bother to double check. What a let down

Creatinine sulfate is used to form stable salt complexes with hydroxy-tryptamines  :) .
