Is it so hard to understand that you are not allowed to sell/trade anything at this board? You are now an ex-bee. /Rhodium

Damn, and I just realized I'm now in the market for a good hotplate/stirrer....

Guess it's time to break down and buy a new one, along with a new vacuum pump,

Acquisition of equipment for the first time is very slow and tedious if you ask me. To bee honest, on the one hand it is exciting, on the other, a major pain in the ass. You are never done spending money, and there is always more you need to buy.

However, there is a certain pride and satisfaction derived from owning a fully equipped laboratory. There is no good substitute for real equipment.

Right on Primo. When swim put his lab together it took 3 months of all the extra money swim had. Like you said,"You are never done spending money, and there is always more you need to buy." Swim has everything needed for the "workshop", but continues to buy stuff convincing Swim's self that he'll use it sometime. Guess swim will never be done.

We'll soon FIND OUT if I'm a chemist or not!

Do you not find it worth the $ though? I do. Every time I look through a catalog, or a website, I manage to find something new that I want to own, and add it to my list of equipment to buy.
