I recently downloaded a DJVU copy of a book called "Protective groups in organic synthesis" (Greene & Wutz). It has 473 pages and the following chapters:
1. The role of protective groups in organic synthesis
2. Protection for the hydroxylgroup, including 1,2- and 1,3-diols
3. Protection for phenols and catechols
4. Protection for the carbonyl group
5. Protection for the carboxyl group
6. Protection for the thiol group
7. Protection for the amino group
8. Reactivities, reagents and reactivity charts
Unfortunately, I lost the exact adress. I tried to find it back but the pages were not accesible. The adress:
