Title: DMT from mhrb?
Post by: MarleyBob on February 17, 2004, 08:05:00 PM
Greetings fellow beez:

I had heard for some time that mimosa hostilis root bark was a good source for extracting DMT from. Just recently, a colleague of mine claimed that MHRB also had bufotenine and thus was not a good source, and that psychotropia viridus might be used as an alternative.

I've never done this extraction before, so i don't really know, and had never heard anything of this sort about the mimosa source. So I thought I'd ask the Hive collective...

I know some people here have gotten dmt from the root bark of mimosa hostilis...

Comments/Suggestions for the plant source?

is has the highest concentration of the alkaloid you want. Bufotenine content is v. low if it exists and it has certainly never been a problem.

This is such a UTFSE-question that it's not even funny.

Anyway, there are all kinds of different sources for DMT in plants, man I remeber some discussion on quality of different suppliers mimosa and so on at www.ayahuasca.com.

So this information that you seek is out there. But it's all variable, every guys got his own method & opinion to go w/it
