Yes of course you can extract pills and clean up whatever they contained, if money isn't an issue. Needless to say this will not be cheap, so you have to decide if it's worth it.
Have a look at column chromatography, this will allow you to separate whatever components are in the pills, even MDA/MDMA.

Ive used the UTFSE however I would like some idea of what process is required for the extraction of MDMA is it the same for any pill ie ephedrine. Any links to relevant methods would be most helpfull. Also is this process considered difficult for a newbee or on the same lines as Meth/MethCat synth
As SWIM can get a 100 pills at £1.50 each. And MDMA powder is £50 a gram (which wouldnt be pure). Then anything over 3 grams would be worth it. Obviously you have to pay out for chems but in the long run or if there is a reasonable amount of MDMA per pill you could even make a profit. Though SWIM only wants it for personnal use.

You assume 100 mg per pill. You also assume you can extract 100% out of your pills. I think you might consider yourself a good chemist if you get 80%. For info, UTFSE for 'mdma as a phase-transfer catalyst'.

No if I assumed I would have 100mg in each pill. Then 100 pills would = 10000 mg which would = 10 grams.
I was assuming that the pill might be low quality say 45/50 mg and after extraction I would end up with 3 grams or 3000 mg.

Just UTFSE searching for mdma as a phase-transfer catalyst and couldnt find anything relevant. Prob me just being a dope.
