INFO: all newBEES Read !!
« on: September 08, 2003, 06:18:00 AM »
hello fellow bees,

It has come to my observation that Bees are not being specific with the question, as this complicates searching on the hive, as one may imagine as noted by Stonium also.

the trouble is as STONIUM nicely pointed out is that other bees who conduct searches cant find shit because of the jargon they express the question with.

IMHO, make sure the question is clearly stated with significance in heading and relevance and therefore from one bee to another, one can find information.

If you wish to view Stoniums comment please do so.

So be to the point in your question. As this helps fellow bees! ;)

by using the best safe linking here, a [ ,then the postnr, ] . So postnr between brackets, this will automatically be converted by the board's software to the above text, which, upon moving your mouse cursor over it, will show you in the leftdown corner of your browser, that it NOW is a SECURE link.

If you act like he did, connecting to the unsecure Hive via http, then putting an unsecure address (http etc.) between http:// and at the end of the address , you will force mouseclicking readers to the unsecure http connection to this site. BAD, BAD, BAD.
The -s- in https means SECURE connection!

PS: good observation there, mindlib.
But to cast a shadow on your eventual happy feeling, please refrain from too much unsubstantial postings in chemistry-threads.
Just to tell you the reason:
this site's chemistry forums are not a chatroom, where you keep on talking casually, but devoted to scientific facts or experiences. I do understand your eagerness to post, but please keep to substantial additions to threads in chemistry forums.

This however also counts for all of you other Newbees. LT/ :)
