Thread and S.T. Joint measurements -- how to read?
« on: March 31, 2004, 10:59:00 AM »
I cant seem to grasp this subject.

For chem equip they list off S.T. Joint sizes like 29/42 and S.T. INNER joint sizes. I dont understand what these mean, what 'part' of the equip they are reffering to and how to read them??

Whats a thread size too, It lists thread sizes for chem equip, but I dont know wut part of the attachment its reffering to either?

Hope this helps, when I started at the hive one of the hardest things to find information on was proper lab procedure and how to correctly make/use/calibrate glassware and lab equipment. If its not in the equip forum here is a reference.

The whole site is good but this explains what the joints mean.
