Clean ma huang extraction for the beez

Ok here is a way to clean the stuff up so that its white and clean and not that yellow dirty shit that is sometimes so hard to get clean:

First extract the raw stuff by whatever means, UTFSE, I'm not going into that, you get the yellow muddy stuff. Dry this stuff as much as you can, you really gotta get the water out but don't burn it in the process.

Next, dissolve it in IPA. I dunno how much, use maybe 1L per 10g or something. Now take a coke bottle and cut the bottom off to turn it into a funnel. Put some cotton down the bottom to block the end, and fill with a primary charcoal filter (from home-brew shop). Put the bottle into a container to collect the alcohol and pour your solution through the charcoal. Keep in mind it may take a long time for the stuff to run through, you just gotta keep topping it up.

Third step is the same but run it through a finisher charcoal (also used in home-brew spirits).

Evap for mean clean white powder.

Only thing to be mentioned is that this is still in the testing phase, but results so far are very promising.  8)
