Title: Homemade high-precision thermometer
Post by: demorol on December 22, 2001, 02:11:00 PM
I was surfing the internet and found an interesting article about making high-precision thermometer. Here's the URL:

What do you think about it?
Life without chemistry would be a mistake.

Wonderful find! Instant bookmark. I love electronics of this sort.

Building an accurate digithermo is the hardest difficulty in building your own hotplate/magstirrer combo, but now it can bee done.  :)

Thank you!

O boy, they only charge $250 for the prebuilt model. Only $250 people! Come on, isn't that a good eal for a thermo?  :P

Please, it wouldn't cost you even $60 to build it on your own if you buy your stuff from the right places. Nice try guys. And they won't give you the meter, either.

So basically you pay $250 for some wire in a tube.... great value.

Still a great find imo.
