ABSTRACT:
PURPOSE: To obtain metal halogenide having high purity at a low cost and in energy saving by a simplified process without restriction of raw material, by
heating org. solvent contg. oxygen atom and(or) alkylamine and having extracted specified metal halogenide complexes, and by evaporating or distillating.
CONSTITUTION: One or more kinds of metal halogenide complex ion selected among As, Bi, Cd, Ce, Co, Cr, Fe, Ga, Ge, In, Hf, Mo, Pb, Re, Sb, Se, Sc, Sn, Te, Tl, V, W and Zn, produced in an acid soln. such as hydrochloric acid are brought into contact with the org. solvent contg. oxygen atom and(or) alkylamine org. solvent, and the solvents extracting and contg. the complex ion above-mentioned are dehydrated and dried, at need, with drying agent such as anhydrous Glauber's salt and anhydrous CaCl
2 and thereafter, is evaporated or distillated by heating under ordinary pressure to produce the metal halogenide having high purity together with regeneration of the org. solvent contg. oxygen atom and(or) alkylamine org. solvent .
