Title: HI(g) From I2 & Mothballs
Post by: Vibrating_Lights on March 19, 2002, 09:33:00 AM
This thought stemmed from thinking about Agent Smith's Byzentine Method for producing HBr with Br2 and Napathalene.  Will it also work for HI from I2 and napathelene. It seemed like a lightbulb went off in the head.  Does any one do this to reduce ephedrine. Or mabyee to halogenate an alkene(does that really work)?? Just a thought
