Title: Reuse of byproducts in ET --> d-LSD approach
Post by: pHarmacist on March 22, 2003, 11:03:00 PM
SWIM is very sorry if this is a stupid question!

Ergotamine tartrate --> d-lysergic acid hydrate --> LSD --d-tartaric acid--> d-LSD.tartrate

Now, SWIM is interested in the resolution part. Does anybee have any hands-on experience of reusing the epimers after the resolution with d-tartaric acid? SWIM would appreciate if some bee could direct SWIM to relvant info on this issue.

Now, SWIM knows that this reference would help SWIM out: I. Ninomiya et al., J. Chem. Soc., Perkin Trans. 1, 941 (1985)

Can some bee bee kind and supply SWIM with it? SWIM has beeing trying to find it, but SWIM failed  :(
