Salt Licked?


One day Dick took a dram and filled it 1/2 full with tap water.
to this water Dick added natural enzymes (whatever!?) from under Dicks tounge
rolled out a drop or two of spit, yes spit.
Dick then added pickling salt till 1/2 inch salt remained undisolved.
Dick then added 10 X 60mg expiration dated 10/6.
Dick noticed nothing much so Dick heated with hand tourch to produce a few
bulb blub bubbles.
Dick noticed the rising spirits in the liquid and the pills begining to breakup.
A few minutes later Dick shook well and noticed something.
Like a cat from the air all landed in a distinct pattern.
Dick then took a second dram and topped it with a microfunnel.
In this funnel was placed one Q-tip head of cotton, non packed.
Next was added more salt til the funnel was half filled.
This may or maynot be improtant, Dick had earlier placed a pill on
ice in the freezer after placing 2drops of h20 backwash on it. This same
pill was placed in the middle of the funnel on top of the salt.
Dick took the first dram and repeated the heating thing as above 2 times while
setting up the funnel.
The First dram had cooled by now and the liquid was shaken and pulled
up into a dropper and added dropwise attop the pill in the funnel.
the pill spread out atop the salt. This was continued until a drip was seen coming
from the funnel.
Dick did not allow the liquid level to get higher than the salt
in the funnel until after half of the liquid from the 1st dram
had been added to the funnel.
After all had been filtered dick added The devil and heated
til boiling. This was imeeeeediately poured through a second microfunnel with
nonpacked Q-tip into a 3rd dram. Wow Dick thought What a dream!?

Hmmm, water, salt and spit. Have seen posts where bees have discussed how pseudo is naturally extracted within the body/absorbed whatever. On that note, another thread suggesting how enzymes might help to circumvent the gakks but nobody who has, as of yet attempted a related extraction.

Did these pills contain povidone or PEG and what was the end result? Did you get pinwheels upon evaporation or enough polymers to make a frisbee?

How well did it filter? The flow of water didn't become obstructed at all? Everytime Swim has used water for extraction, any kind of filtering attempt would come to a screeching halt.

Nobody has offered an explanation yet how spitting on your pills is supposed to help in extraction.
Maybe we need to add some puke since absorption takes place in the stomach?

Stupidity and lack of chem's could have been the reason Dick spat on the spot.


Update:

Dick rinsed the resulting xtls in water, filtered dried
and tested the xtls in a small pie rxn.

As w/ gacked p-cursers before it was slow to start, however in comparison to previous tries w/same pills the rxn had some "life" to it.

Dick was impatient so the rxn was short... Dick was really only interested in seeing if the problem gack, the on that produces that efervecent smell and creates "toothpaste" when acidified at the very end. Dick wondered if he hadn't of mixed the 2 pulls together, what an idiot! In a rush he took the pull from the story above and an additional pull combined for the rxn.  The second pull had to many pills in it (disolved in the salt water) for the water volume and salt volume in a lg dram.  The water used was distilled but had been swished around and spat into the dram.  Salt added then pills.  It created a foam layer at the top that "wrapped" around the pills as they were added one by one.  Also Dick noticed the pills were more readily disolved this time creating string like attatchments rising upward. In general all actions and motions had an upward direction.  No heat had been added but the water was between rm temp and body temp. (plus any variation due to salt disolving?) More salt and time for the salt was needed perhaps?  To many variables here, but Dick was aware that it was more favorable for the gack.  Worste case conditions compared to above story.?!

Dicks previous atempt w/ these pills was a failure, prior to this rxn.  With xtraction methods other than the ones in this thread.


This time, though the rxn was short fast n way too hot,
and the smell could be noted when basing, Dick continued to base the rxn mix. (unfiltered)  based til it would have locked up if cooler.  Upon letting it sit for 30 min an oily layer rose to the top.  (the dram had been tillted and rolled 3 diff times in the 30 min.  The bottom layer had locked up now so Dick sucked up the oil with a dropper.
Dick then sucked up a bit of ditiled h20, capped the end of the dropper w/finger and mixed it up a bit. then Dick droppered out the water and sucked up a bit of hcl/water premixed 8 drops per 20 or so mL. Some toothpaste crap apeared and  Dick was sad at first.  This formed a layer at the interface so dick said what the hell and droppered out 2 drops in a pipe and one on a mirror to dry. Torch in hand the drops in the pipe were slowly heated bit after bit till the vapor/smoke cross point reached.  Upon cooling xtls formed where before only a salty powder and slime were the result. Reheated and reluctantly whiffed Dick did smell candy, then continued to heat and smelled psuedo.  The candy smell is that of uncleaded result of older pie rxn's that were successful.. the psudo refernce is the smell of psuedo as it reaches the overheated n gacked ponit when extracted and not cleaned.  Also noticed was that plasticy smell at the end, but only very slight was the efevecent smell.  Dick was pleased somewhat and will due a larger more controled run and report the results....

First the bad news.
Dick attempted to scale up the extration part with 120's no doubt.  All came to a stop then made paste.
Dropping back down to the 1 oz dram and doing either 5 120's or 10 60's per dram and changing out the filter cotton/salt every 2 drams Dick reported all went smooth.

The Filtering of the based/heated extraction fluid was exchanged for a typical a/b using an np cocktail derived from excessivly washing laquerthiner with brine then heating the resulting np in the microvwave for about 8 min, stiring/distirbing every minute or so.  Rinsed 1 more time with acidic water (hcl) then rinsed w basic water then last time with brine.

The resulting np had been sitting and was used to extract the psuedo. Durring the a/b Dick used the assistance of microvaves and mixing to collect the psuedo.  About 1/4 of the total psuedo collected was from the  resulting xtls that formed in the np before the titration. These fb xtls were dried between paper with pressure and not rinsed.  The resulting titrated hcl crystals were used as is no acetone rinse. Both were combined and concentrated phos-ic acid was added in place of any water for the beginnning of the PIE rxn.  Dick opted for an 8 hr rxn rather than his fast and impatient 1.5.  The rxn was capped and "burped aprox every hour. Also drops of water were added as it went along.  At 4 hrs more I2 was tossed in. At 7 more rp then water at the 8 mark and then allowed to boil and cool.  Boil, ya right more like bump n jump!  Dick was very pleased when no color change could be seen at any time.  No purple, no orange only milky white and maybee a tint of yellow.  More of the np was used at for the work up.  No prewash of the rxn fluid. The rp after drying was back to it's babypowder form and readily fell off the filter. I asked dick if he thinks maybee the np had something to do with it?  Some questions are just pointless, anyway this mix of 120's and 60's  were well used.  2 box of 60's 2 box of 120's 20 ct.
Potential 8.67 psuedo in.  Who knows the actual though with Dick's mix of fb and hcl.  After the titration then powder to rocks end result minus taste testing 4.5 grams small rocks.
