using it instead of muratic and tin foil, just wasn't sure what the difference is?

Hydrochloric acid is HCl gas dissolved in water. H2SO4 (sulfuric acid) is a chemical of its own. I highly reccomend you learn even basic chemistry. If you dont know the difference between two acids are, then you seriously dont belong here.
