What does 1% tritable iodine mean. Tried to extract and it formed less than a pinch and turned yellow.  Any advice?

you would need 5 gallons of that shit to get any decent return. There is always ebay, just dont send it to your house(or where lab is).
CHECKED THE LOCAL FEED STORE ???????

New Canadian Based Suppliers

I'm quite suspicious of those newer Canadian based suppliers who _only_ sell Iodine at online auctions. It just doesn't seem logical for a chem supplier to be that specific in the range of what items they sell.

One of them now claims that your identity will remain private with them too.

Somehow I just don't believe them.

7%

try to get the 7% stuff, it ususally comes by the pint at vet stores.

In regards to the I2 from auction sites, swin ordered some awhile back for other - legal - purposes and hasn't had any trouble since, except the price. Tincture is wayy cheaper (for swin) and would tend to arouse less suspicion me thinks

I got a gallon of what I have from the feed store, I saw the 7% pints there, too.  I guess I thought that bigger was better.  How much I2 should come out of the 7% pints?

7% of the solution by weight, probably just over an ounce. UTFSE and do a search on Rhodiums site for lots of info.
