Returning a favor, Swim's friend recently agreed to receive package from our friendly northern neighbor, received and signed for package, but is now worried as, due to past errors with incorrectly labeled packages, it had his actual name. Should Swim tell Swim's friend to hide his blacklight, bongs and tear down his pot posters?
It seems unlikely that the package was opened and allowed to go through in a controlled give-enough-rope non-bust delivery as it appeared to be perfectly intact, although Swim is aware of fiber optic camera technology. As far as being compromised from the shipper, this seems less likely. What is the extent of cross border cooperation and analysis of foreign company records? Did it go through without raising a flag, making the name irrelevent?
Contents were declared as "essential oil" Does ~$11.xx buy express mail delivery confirmation/signature confirmation in addition to simple tracking?
Has Swim's friend been compromised? Should Swim rehearse a knock and talk defense with friend? Bake cookies and milk for expected official guests? Or just relax and appreciate the lapse?
Any thoughts appreciated.
