A system of air initially at 250oK and 1 bar is subjected to a
process that raises the temperature to 600oK at constant volume.
Consider two different processes that
get the air to the same final state:

1.)The temperature rise comes from heat transfer from a
reservoir at temperature TR = 600oK. The boundary temperature of
the system contacting the reservoir is also
at 600oK.

2.) The temperature rise comes adiabatically from a paddle-wheel
stirring the air.

For each case calculate the amount of entropy produced per kg
air (in kJ/kg.K).
For which case is s smaller, and why does this make sense?
