Raingear
« on: March 10, 2002, 04:35:00 PM »
SWIE was treating motorcycle raingear with a moisture repellant and was wondering if the ingredients may be converted, reduced, or used in  situ for possible precursor for experiments.  The label lists in this order:

Water
flouroaliphatic polymer
1-(2-butoxypropxyl)-2-propanol
and hydrocarbon propellant.

So my question is

Is this something that may possibly of any use besides treating my raingear?

If there is a way to integrate this into a solution,
how would it work? feasibility?  cuz it is dirt cheap in large volume.

Thanks for your feedback.

They have no use in clandestine chemistry.
