Are you trying to say you ahve been using mason jars for labware and have recently replced them with an unknown glass item from the floral dept costing only a buck? Damn dude go sell some crack and buy a 14/20 macroscale organic chem kit for three hundread bucks.

What is it a cheap ass vase?

BTW noting OTC would beat a "REAL" pyrex erlynmeyer flask in terms of heat shock resistance and durability. Go get on off the auction place for 3 dollars.
