yes, without "pneumatics" and binding agents it produces a garbage representitive of what you think you may get out of such a home grown device.  Do you expect to manufacture mass produced pharamaceutical quality pressed pills?  If yes do not purchase.  If you want a somwhat held together mass of product that starts falling apart the minute it touches your tongue, than this product is for you.

Be advised that rapid degradation of tablet consistency once in contact with ones tongue has lead many a pill popper to immediately vomit due to the rapid phase change from a  slightly compressed solid to pasty solvent laden mush, that has the consistancy of what those from Pennsylvania would call Scrapple.

My advice, stick to capsules....

just my advice, nothing more, nothing less,

I use 50%Starch, 2% Mg-sterate and the rest is product. Ballmilled for 10h and pressed in such a device with an medium size cramp (presure under 1 ton) to ubtain perfect pill's hard  as comercial ones. It take 30-60sek/pill so it's not the way to make it commercial, but greath for personal use.
The product is way bether than capsules.

Why? Because of faster release? Caps will only add 5-7 minutes to the time you have to wait for onset of desired effects. I usually punctured the caps with a needle before taking them so that this time would be eliminated.

How long do you have to hold it pressed with the cramp?

I know it says 30-60 sec/pill BUT there is some time to fill the cavity, some time to remove the pill, maybe some time to inspect pills and clean them up...

did you think that the 60s could include the time to fill, press and empty?

But anyway, caps are probably better and the idea of puncturing them just before eating them to eliminate that time delay (only if your really fussy, just a few mins extra gggeeeessss) is good.

Hest.... what are you trying to say.... you use pills because you can keep them in your wallet? the caps click closed and are rather tight so there is no risk of them leaking powder unless you sit on your wallet or some other way to break them...

Yes, before I used caps, but from time to time (often) ended up with broken caps. That dosent happen with the pressed pills. I also find dosing easy with the ballmilling part (I know just put the milled material in the caps). Deluting DOM is not that easy.
For the pressingpart i guess ill let it sit for 30'sek.

You want to make meth/dxm pills for home use?  If its for home use, just put them in a capsule.  I hope you weren't planning on selling those pills as MDMA =(

all pills will break up if not treated correctly...

but IMHO the pills made by this herbal press or by using clamps without pneumatic pressure will not make a good pill, they will press and yes may last a while but after a few days they may come apart, esp if they are in a bag banging together all the time....
