Big crystal of MDMA

In my country there is sold some very nice crystals called MDMA crystal.... How is these huge crystals made? Could they be made from MDMA chloride after rextallisation from MeOH??

Allowing a liquid solution of the salt to slowly evaporate will lead to large crystals. DXM freebase makes beautiful crystals upon slow evaporation of hexane.

If you use the search engine you will find many threads discussing the proper way to grow nice crystals.

If you do a normal recrystalization and use a nicely formed shard to seed a solution and allow it to evaporate it will grow nice crystals during evaporation. You need to make sure the solution is saturated at room temp and make sure teh temp doesn't vary too drastically or your crystals will go back into solution or nor form nicely.

Yes.  If you take your "flour-like" crystals..dissolve them in a MINIMUM of hot isopropyl alcohol with 1/4 that amount of acetone..and allow to crystallize slowly in the fridge...you will get clear plate-like crystals about the size of coarse cooking salt.  This procedure can be modified for use on most of the compounds discussed here.  It is very common.  Use totally dry and pure solvents as well.  The search engine is your friend.

a saturated mdma water solution underneath a layer of toluene creates unique parallelagrams and flat diamonds about 4mm x 6mm. For some reason its different without the toluene.

As far as crystallization is concerned, just remember that time means everything. The largest crystals you will ever see are grown for days, weeks, or even months. Long needles of the compound in question can be obtained from isopropanol/isopropyl acetate, isopropanol/ethyl ether, isopropanol/ethyl acetate, or isopropanol/hexane mixtues. The mixtures are listed above in order of desirability of use. Start with about 2-5ml/g hot iPrOH, then add 1-5ml/g other solvent. Cool slowly on a hot plate, once at room temp, put in the fridge, then in the freezer eventually.

Alternativly, HUGE cubic crystals can be grown from the slow evaporation of acetonitrile. Generally, it is better to keep the vessel loosly covered in a drafty area (fume hood, etc.). Beautiful cubic crytals can also be grown over a period of weeks from a dilute solution in 1:1 acetonitrile/ethyl ether in the freezer.

Dissolve the crystals in a minimum of MeOH and allow it to slowly evaporate. Take the largest crystal from that and repeat using it as a larger seed crystal in the same procedure... you can grow big crystals, at least 5mm in size.
