Indole Acetic Acid

First, please xcuse the stupidity and haste with which my last post was written....but I think I may be onto something now!

Indole Acetic Acid is a common plant hormone....and its basically tryptamin with an acetic acid group where there should be a dialkylamino group. Perhpase the acetic acid synth of methylamine in the methylamine FAQ could be modified (use indole and an n,n substituted urea) to make an n,n alkylated tryptamine? Or would one end up with an NN alkylamino indole without the aliphatic side chain in between.
