Title: IBX Esters with Bleach!
Post by: metanoid on July 20, 2004, 12:39:00 AM
this is fantastic!

step 1. turn a 2-iodobenzoic acid ester into the correspondingĀ  ibx ester with bleach

step 2. benzyl alcohol -> benzaldehyde 100%

step 3. lots and lots of other oxidations.

here are the gooodies.
