Nevadensis contains no ephedrine- only pseudo (not that anybody here minds)

Or, at least, that is what Erowid's site claims.  Is there somebody who has the materials and instruments to verify this statement?

It will not be as good as the other ephedra, but follow the instructions in this thred, and it will work:

"the ephedra cure"

(18294: "The ephedra cure", Stimulants)

SWIC would also like to add that it also works with Sida Cordifolia. A birch rxn with the powder worked well, have not tried a red rxn with Sida cleaned by the ephedra cure.

But I could bee wrong. Anybeez got any more on this? Steam distillation of plant material sounds feasible, if it did in fact have alkaloids present.
