Title: What is 'motor cleaner' ?
Post by: Mountain_Girl on July 26, 2002, 09:31:00 AM
This stuff is non-flammable and is used for cleaning electrical equipment. It may be a useful OTC solvent. I'm almost certain it's a chlorinated hydrocarbon but I don't think it's DCM cos it's not as volatile. My guess is that it's trichloroethane or something.
Anyone know for sure ?

but it's perchloroethlyene.

When you need to figure out the contents of a product type in "MSDS" "the product name" <- all in quotes
