Take up mineral collecting! Do a search on any search engine for "cleaning Quartz crystal. Read results, then enjoy your OTC sources for Oxalic acid @ $2-$4 a pound!

Showing up at the Chemical supply with a couple of 5 gal buckets of uncleaned Quartz crystal is great cover for picking up a 50 pound bag for $35! Try that at the hardware store.....

Why would you even need the crystals? It isn't like oxalic acid is even slightly suspicious, you'd raise more suspicion hauling a few buckets of rocks into the chem supply place that you would just asking for it and being proffesional about it. If they ask then you use your story, otherwise don't worry about it.
