Title: Writing a formula for amine reaction

In a reaction involving an amine to be reduced - How do you predict what part of this compound will be reduced. What are
the reactive properties of HI that would cause this reduction to certain -OH group.

Maybe you should use the search engine, read the instructions for Newbees, and get an organic chemistry book.
