Blue Gak in
« on: July 17, 2004, 11:57:00 PM »
Alright guys, been a while since SWIM posted last. He did a bit of experimenting and found:

SWIM found that the activated charcoal method did NOT work on 240 mg S***fed 24 hour pills with the following ingredients:

cellulose, cellulose acetate, hydroxypropyl celluose, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, magnesium stearate, polyethylene glycol, polysorbate 80, povidone, sodium chloride, and titanium dioxide.

SWIM took the pills and tried a TDE/JD. He then dissolved the clear/blueish crystals in distilled water and filtered twice through a Brita water pitcher. What he ended up with was the same crystals with the blue tint. These crystals could not quite produce a clean burn test on tinfoil.

Anyone know what this blue gak is?

Don't proceed until the Blue is completely gone!
That blue is heavy metal residue from the JD. It gets trapped by the gaak.
In the beginning(up until 6 months ago)...acetone rinses would carry away all the blue with no problem. Now they have included something that traps the blue and it's toxic so either rid the blue or trash it!
DON'T REACT and consume it thinking it's okay.
UP until Ibee quit using the JD because of this problem, he found that a few hcl(murry) drops added to the each acetone rinse of the xtals would loosen up the blueness and allow the tone to carry it away!
The pfed xtals MUST be white or don't proceed.
