I was thinking just an solvent extraction with filtering would be good enough.

My references imply that decarboxylation of an amide can take place with just plain old NaOH and water (lye for those less literate). How long would you surmiss that I heat the amide/NaOH mixture?
(even though this is way off the subject)...
On a purely chem-hack perspective, could someone partially reduce para-chlorobenzene to chlorobenzene? That way everything for the enolate P2P production would be OTC.
Just looking to bring everything OTC and win this war on drugs...
