Title: legal use for 3,4,5-Trimethoxyphenylacetonitrile

THF is obvious, and the rest is in the TFSE, but when I
tried searching around for "legal" uses for
3,4,5-Trimethoxyphenylacetonitrile I didn't find anything
either.

Please post here if you find any, or maybee there are
some other bees around who know of any good excuses for
ordering 3,4,5-Trimethoxyphenylacetonitrile? :)

3,4,5-trimethoxyphenylacetonitrile is so obviously one step away
from mescaline, you could directly order the latter.  :P

BTW: don't you get better yields (per $ of starting compound) if you start from the benzaldehyde?

You could perhaps write an Eleusius style memoir on your attempts to purchase 3,4,5-trimethoxyphenylacetonitrile, LAH and dry THF in the same order. Get a friend to post it for you.
