Higher pressure or better shaking for 02 wacker?
« on: May 07, 2003, 06:25:00 PM »
Just wanted to have opininions from bees with experience with the o2 wacker.
Here are my options:
Built a KRV from a pop bottle, and use a shaking water bath to hold the temp at 40-50 degrees while shaking the krv. The pressure would be around 40-50 psi
or
Buy a pressure vessel rated at 135 psi, have it coated with teflon and use it as a krv, under 125 psi. Shaking migh be hard for this vessel since its weighs around 20 pounds, that would do my biceps work-out!

What are your opinions about this? Thanks

Go with the 2l bottle.

Go with the 2l bottle. You really don't need a shaking water bath. Just get a five gallon bucket and add your warm water to that. Let it sit in the bucket then shake. That's the way swim does it. Results have always been good.
