Finally A Successful Adderall Extraction

During today swig slowly worked on trying to (once again) extract adderall, to test his skills, and to have a fuller understanding of the newest challenges that we are up against.  You may or may not agree about how much of a success this is, and only persons who have tried extracting adderall can appreciate this information. Well here it goes.

1.   5 20mg adderall pills (non-XR) were put in a mortar and crush to a fine powder.
2.   The powder is placed on a filter paper which is placed on a buchner funnel.
3.   2 times, distilled water is poured into the funnel until it reaches the top, which then a vacuum is attached and the water is pulled though.
4.   The filtrate should contain no small particles, and look honey like in color.
5.   Strong solution of sulfuric acid is poured into the flask containing the honey colored solution. (Amount is not really important, the point is to neutralize any carboxylic acids that may be present, Note: Not too concentrated, because the reaction with toluene and sulfuric acid that may take place.)
6.   Solution is then poured into a sep. funnel, which then the solution is made basic.
7.   Toluene is then poured in the sep. funnel containing the amphetamines, this is done 3 times and toluene layers are collected.(make sure solution is still basic)
8.   (Ok here is my mistake even though I did get smoke able product.) Toluene fractions are poured back into sep. funnel, and distilled water is added.  A mass amount of salt is then poured in sep. funnel.
9.   Salt solution is then removed and distilled water is used to wash organic layer once more. (The distilled water is made basic first to avoid any migration of the amine into the (aq) layer.
10.   Small amounts of water are then added back into the sep. funnel, and HCl was added. This is done three times and HCl layers are collected into a 125 Er.flask.
11.   This is then slowly heated on oven, (This was kind of weird, because the water layer did not want to boil, it would boil a little, then stop, but no bumping really)
12.   Finally when just about all water was removed ethanol was added and crystals, and NaCl crashed out.
13.   This was placed on a Pyrex trey and dried. 

Conclusion:  Try not to put too much salt like I did, and if you do anyway make sure you wash well enough. Product was very white, and yields looked very very good, until swig realized how much salt was present, which then the high yields made more since. This white powder is placed on foil and heated, smoke seems to migrate from the foil, but dark to white powder (salt, and few impurities) remained.  Swig know this product was pretty pure except for the salt, because the trashed left behind did not burn indicating that is was mostly salt(and tasted like salt).  During one puff though, powder left a little green like mark on finger when touched.  Smoke had a weird bitter, salty, and (not to scare you) roach spray like taste.  This might have been the result of really dry mouth. High is very good, very relaxed euphoric high, very, very, very similar to methamphetamines, very hard to tell the difference.  Well hoped you enjoyed. ;D

Okay, not that anyone will care at this point, but I find it hilarious that someone would ask that question. (unless, of course, it was purely sarcastic) Anyway, true adderall is the round, flat, double scored tablet that says 20 on one side and AD on the other.  The oval ones are the newer, generic ones, with the sugary coating.  Anyway, it doesn't even matter.  It's all the same racemic amphetamine mixture.
